The Registry of Deeds is a passport acceptance facility.

Passport services are available from 7:30am until 2:45pm.

First-Time Application Checklist:

First-Time Application Form DS-11
Proof of Identity: original + photocopy of front and back of ONE of the following forms of identification. Children under the age of 16 require parental consent; for more information, visit travel.state.gov
Proof of U.S. Citizenship: original + photocopy of front and back of ONE of the following forms of U.S. citizenship
One 2” x 2” Passport Photo

Other Fees:

Passport Photo: $15 Payable to the Registry of Deeds
Expedite Fee: $60 Paid per application, in addition to required fees. Provides faster processing than routine service.
Overnight Delivery: $21.36 Paid per application for overnight delivery of an issued passport book from the Department of State to the customer. Only applies to mailing addresses within the United States. Not valid for passport cards.
File Search Fee: $150 A file search is necessary when an applicant is unable to present evidence of U.S. citizenship or verification of a previously issued U.S. Passport or Consular Report of Birth Abroad. Applicant must submit Form DS-11 and a written request for a file search.
Overnight Express: $32 This is to mail the application overnight from the Registry of Deeds to the Department of State
